In the mean time I really wanted to keep practising and make sure I didn’t forget how to use the things I had learned so I spent some time in the digital space learning things on Illustrator and photoshop to create the pieces below which I am really happy with, however I feel there is a lot of room for growth.
The piece below has been inspired by eastern philosophy as recently this is something I have been drawn too having previously explored it a lot, to try to help me cope with a lot of problems in life and to reinforce the power of meditation and creating a more zen mindset. This was made by me drawing the lotus shape in my sketchbook, scanning it in and then using illustrator to flip it over and invert it. I used photoshop to design the rest as I am still not fluent enough illustrator to create the whole thing using that.
I think this is another piece which could end up making a great screen print, so hopefully at some point I will find the time to do that.

I love patterns of a tribal nature and geometrics so I am trying to explore drawing these. I created this drawing of a girl sitting in what I’d like to think of as a bit of a matrix as I feel this reflects how I have been feeling for a while, like sometimes life is very confusing and hard to navigate.

I scanned in this drawing and edited it in Illustrator to create this image. I am trying to put the eyes now some where in each one which I will eventually recreate into a more distinctive symbol or icon but for now I need to improve on my digital skills first to be able to create the image I would like with it.
